The TergoPower team is based in Norway (head office), Sweden and Poland. We manage our operations with openness, effectiveness and accountability, and for each energy source and each type of technology, we strive to be the best in class.
We have been involved in the design and construction of CHP plants in Europe with an aggregate net power output in excess of 500 MWe. As a result of the management teams’ involvement in over 70 renewable energy projects, where a number of different technologies and design configurations for CHP plants and feedstock logistics systems have been considered, TergoPower possesses significant knowledge about the best of breed solutions and has a clear strategy to partner with leading technology providers and EPC contractors on a project-by-project basis.

DID YOU KNOW THAT…
… in Italy a half a million tons of olive waste arise each year that can be used to generate green power?
… global emissions from motorbikes are over 80 million tons CO² each year?
… from one Christmas to the next, over 400 million tons CO² of methane are emitted from coal mines?
… a return flight to a really sunny place emits around two tons CO² per head?
We are proud to state that we are doing something about it. Our investments in developing green power stations contribute to a greener and cleaner environment. We convert biomass waste residues into steam for the production of power and heat.
The use of biomass for energy causes no long-term net increase in carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere. As trees and plants grow, they remove carbon from the atmosphere through photosynthesis.
If the amount of new biomass growth balances the biomass used or energy, the energy achieved is carbon dioxide “neutral.” That is, the use of biomass for energy does not increase carbon dioxide emissions and does not contribute to the risk of global climate change.
